What is Latino2?

Latino2, a celebration and exploration of all things Latino in the age of digital/social engagement. Brought to you by Latinos in Social Media (LatISM).

On September 18, Latinos in Social Media (LATism), kicks off 12-month, multi-city tour of the state of California with a kick-off and awards ceremony in LA.

We plan to take in as much of the state as possible, from the inner city of Los Angeles, to the corridors of power in Sacramento, to many of the places where Latinos are joining others to invent and reinvent the way we live, work and play. Come join us on September 18, 2010, at the Los Angeles Convention Center where we kick off this twelve-month tour by congregating and honoring the leading thinkers and practitioners in marketing and communications.  This first event features a keynote from famed social media guru Brian Solis, an-depth interview with one of the leading “cross-border” marketing agencies, an awards-ceremony, and a post-event networking mixer.
